Vlad Murnikov, Dreamer and Achiever, was the creative force behind FAZISI, the first ever Russian entry into the world’s top ocean competition, launched during Gorbachev’s Perestroika. After coming to America Vlad was designing luxury yachts and powerboats for Ted Hood while developing his own design and boatbuilding business. One of his most notable designs is the early-1990s revolutionary MX-Ray single-handed skiff, which forever changed the way we look at high performance.
Brian Hancock, Author, Adventurer, Inspirer, the three words that sum up Brian’s success as a professional sailor, business marketing expert and inspirational speaker. Brian logged over quarter million offshore miles including three Whitbread Round the World campaigns. As Media Director for numerous prestigious offshore events, he introduced a whole new generation of sailors to offshore racing and firmly established many major events on global calendar. Brian is the author of six adventure books.
Cam Lewis is one of the world’s most celebrated sailors with achievements ranging from winning two Finn Gold Cups and 505 World Championship, to Big Boat racing and offshore multihull record setting. He was a key crewmember onboard Dennis Conner’s victorious Start and Stripes catamaran during the 1988 America’s Cup and the only American aboard the Commodore Explorer, the catamaran that in 1998 broke the mythical 80-day around the world record to become the first holder of the coveted Jules Verne Trophy.
